I've been on the pill for 9 months but i've had a brain lapse and have manage to confuse myself!

you have to take 7 full days off of the pill and on the 8th day you take your first pill of the next pack. So according to what you've said, your next pill should be taken on Tuesday. Double check with your doc if you want to be sure since I'm not qualified to give you medical advice.

It doesn't matter how long you've taken your birth control, it stops protecting you against pregnancy the minute you're off of it. Even the white pills are basically sugar pills, (telling your body to menstruate and helping you to keep tabs on your days).

So, let your body menstruate, but then you're back to no sex for two months to make sure the pill is effectively protecting you.

In the mean time, it would be wise to schedule an appointment with the Women's Health Clinic and discuss alternative birth control methods which would be better for your lifestyle.

...Like, Mirena it's a IUD and these kinds of implants can last up to 5 years and put less hormones in your body. Everyone's side effects are different. So before you start Googling, it's best to discuss this information with a physician at the health clinic.

P.S. Don't recommend Depo. I've known plenty of women to get pregnant off of it, amongst other uncomfortable side effects: depression, weight gain...etc.

Choose wisely and be safe.
