writes:I am trying to get close to girl at the moment and am hoping to make a move over the few times we go out but i am wondering if i should shave. I have about 10 days worth of growth and like to keep it that way because i think i look far too young without it. problem is- will the beard make her unwilling to kiss me or will the young face make me less attractive to her?  it all comes down to personal preference!! seriously :)
my boyfriend kept shaving when we first started dating because he was afraid i wouldnt like his beard or stubble. infact, i absolutely love it now that he has let it grow a bit. from 1-5 days its a bit too prickly but then it starts getting longer and nice to touch. i never used to fancy beards but his really does it for me. and he likes the fact that he doesnt hav to shave every day.
so my advice is - shave for your first date (nice and close so there is no prikly bits!) continue shaving for a few dates, then if you know your not seeing her in a few days, let it grow so its not so prikly and let her decide if she likes it.

Quite honestly, this is a very hard question to answer since we Aunts don't have a picture of you with your growth! I once knew of a twenty year old guy who only had to shave once a month, so if your beard grows slowly there may not be much hair on your face. But if it's sort of half way between a beard and a clean shave, it may
not be the best look for a brand new girl you're trying to impress! (Unless, of course, she's just really into that look, or is so attracted to you it hardly matters
at all). I would say offhand that if it's just a bit of stubble, then that can be very sexy to a woman.
BUT, if it's kind of scraggly looking, then probably a clean shave is more attractive...
BUT, most important is that you feel upbeat and comfortable with way your present yourself!

 My husband no longer shaves but keeps a bit of stubble that he trims regularly. I find it very sexy but all girls are different. If this is how she is used to you looking leave it for now x

 a few questions..... has she seen u freshly shaved? has she commented on ur appearence when u shave/do not shave? u need to think what suits u as well as what she likes. personally i hate it when my hubby leaves his beard for a few days coz it looks untidy and messy and it seems that he dont really want to look nice and clean, but.. in saying that i like it when it is all the same length and in a style

 Keep it as its you! If its what you usually have then keep it! If she doesnt like it she will proberly make a comment and then you can make the choice to shave it off....but from my point of view men look hot with beards or stubble!! Yes its sometimes a bugger to kiss with but if you find it hot then you put up with the pain hehe!

 My personal opinion is a beard is fine as long as it's not out of control. I don't like mustaches so maybe you could get rid of that and keep the rest?
