I don't see why everyone thinks a child will get picked on because of their name.
I've been to different schools, Private and state and i've not heard once someone get picked on. Lots of people i know have different names i have a friend called Angel and another is Treasure rosie and they have never been picked on for having their name like that.
The celebs are calling their children unqiue names and believe me most people with normal names would love to have a unique one.
My mum called me Olivia thinking it was unique and now theres an Olivia everywhere i go!
Good luck

Patricia (could use the or umlaut over it)
Selina (a classic name)
Becky (you don't have to use the full form Rebecca always!)
Dawn (another classic)
Ryann
Tania (Tatiana is the full version, and Tania sounds a bit nicer!)
For a boy's name:
Adam
Andrew
Alan
Christopher
Marcus
Mark
Hope these have helped you!

I love theese name Jeremey for a boy along with Bret. For a girl Daina and Jesicia. When I was little I liked the name Kaia(k•a•ya) for a girl.

My daughter was going to be Diana and then when I held her for the first time, I knew her name was Chloe. So, once you meet that person, whether in utero or after birth, the name arrives to you.
Triedit also makes a good point of putting yourself in your child's shoes and face the peers. Our culture has a tendency to treat others according to the association with their name. For example, naming a chid after a well-loved famous person can invoke favorable thoughts and feelings in some. Or, the same for a name representing a place or thing; there are common associations people tend to have upon hearing a name. So be careful there.

Just think about how the names will affect the child rather than looking for something cute that suits a baby!
Too many children get bullied at school and having an unusual name or one that is simple to change to anything offensive is well worth avoiding. It seems trivial and silly now but we are grown ups, think about the 10 year old boy called ZANKA, it would take 30 seconds for his new nick name! Children are cruel and nick names stick!

Flynn Owen is a really nice name.
With the girls, I personally wouldn't go for Arizona as it's a state, wouldn't go for Ryann as ... I don't know ... I think because Ryan is a boy's name, and Ryann is a bit close for me.
Makenna is ok, but I would probably go for something else, to be totally honest. Whereas Flynn Owen really struck me as a nice name, I'm just not that keen on Makenna. I'd go for something softer like Isabella, but that's just me. So, out of those girls names, yes, I'd go for Makenna Joy. I think Joy is lovely ...
Have fun!

As long as they can call them selves something pretty normal at school so they don't get beaten up, then what ever the hell you like.
Good Luck!! xx

I have personally always liked the name Geoffrey, so how about Geoffrey Owen??
For the ones you chose (of course it should be you and your bf's choice; not ours):
Flynn Owen
Makenna Joy (and I agree with a previous poster that I, too, am not too fond of names that can go with either sex, like Ryann).

I personally love the name Flynn Owen! It sounds so cute and Makenna Joy is very unique!
Flynn means Heir to the redheaded and is from the Celtic/Gaelic Origin.
Makenna Joy is from the name Mckenna which means son of ken or kenna which is also from the Celtic/Gaelic Orgin.
I love the name choices!

Personally, i am not one for unisex sounding names. Like Ryann for a girl, or Sloan for a boy. Just not my bag.
At both of my jobs I see a lot of girls with the name Makenna, in all of it's variations. Usually because the baby was conceived while Mom and Dad were on their honeymoon in Hawaii, and there is a beach there named Makenna (not sure about how it's spelled). So to me, it's not very unique anymore. Just a heads up.
Name trends are pretty hard to follow. I like the the names Flynn and Arizona. I'm a substitute teacher, and I do kid's birthday party hosting on the weekends, so I hear a lot of the new names.
New popular girls names that everyone has:
Olivia
Isabella
Sophia
Payton
Emma
Ella
Makenna
Makenzie
Not sure about boys names, I mainly work with girls.
Good luck! :) Just go with your heart on this one.

Are you pregnant? If not, it's a wasted endeavor. Your child will be unique, and the first time you look at him or her you will know which of your favorite names (or something that just comes to you!) will be best.
Just remember, kids can be cruel so don't choose something that will get your child teased in school.
It is always nice to honor your ancestors by naming your child after someone you love.
