Which means going on holiday and going to the beach.My wife always gets a new bikini at the start of summer and for the past few years a brazilian wax. This year she says she too old for a bikini and will get a one piece swimsuit and thinks the girls at the beauty salon don't like doing brazilians on 48 year old women.I think her body is still ok that she can still wear the bikini. I also think that you can never be too old for a brazilain.Whats everyone thoughts on these subjects, should she get a one piece and forgo the wax. She is a size 12we are both interested in what people think

 I agree with everyone else - she isn't too old. If she wants to get one done, she should. And if she still looks good in a bikini, then that's all good too. But if she feels uncomfortable or self conscious about it, then you shouldn't pressure her. But if she wants to, she should go ahead.

 Huni i do a brazillian on a 56 year old woman and i am proffessional at all times so the girls who do your wifes brazillian will be to, beauty therapit have no issues on age or what we do, we ge paid to povide a proffessional service on anyway who asks for it.

I don't think one is Ever too old to get a brazilian. It is fun, clean, and looks nice. If the people at the salon have any hang-ups about this, then take your business elsewhere. We all have the right to feel like women. Encourage your wife to still wear a bikini - it will make her feel good, but respect her if she wants a full costume. It is all about what she feels comfy in. Heck - i wish i still had the guts to swim in public, and i'm only 24... Embrace it, and flaunt it while you've got it.

I say never!!
When i studied hair and beauty at college we had a variety of different ages come into the salon, but most of the time they were older woman the average age was around 55, just because you are older than some does not mean you shouldn't be entitled to the same treatment, they are no very profesional if they refuse to do it!!

I expect they'd get much older people in there, 48 really isn't that old.
Don't blurt out and say that though, your wife might be using that as an excuse, she may be hiding some insecurities about herself
