Well...Its hard to say when you will start your period. But it seems like you will start soon just dont compare your self to other people who have because that will make you feel worse. Just be patient and it will come hope this helped x

Yes, you can buy creams and other treatments for yeast infections over the counter BUT there are a couple things you should know:
First, and I believe it says so on the packaging of such treatments, you shouldn't use them unless you've had a yeast infection before, and had it verified as a yeast infection by a doctor. The logic is that while it might sound like a yeast infection to us, only a doctor can tell you for sure, and once you've had one diagnosed by a doctor, you'll be able to recognize the symptoms and self-diagnose in the future.
Second, there are a number of different kinds of bacterial and fungal infections you can get "down there." Once I went to the doctor with similar symptoms, and she told me that it was just due to dehydration, because it was a dry time of year, and I just needed more water! There is also an infection that has similar symptoms to a yeast infection, but is essentially the opposite of a yeast infection. If it's that particular type of infection, the over-the-counter yeast infection treatment is only going to make it worse.
Also, not to be gross or anything, but it's highly unlikely that you've had a yeast infection for a year, and are still able to function normally due to the EXTREME ITCHING. Sure, sometimes they don't itch as bad as others, but after a year of having an untreated infection, I'd imagine it would be so bad that you'd have a hard time walking around. The discharge for a yeast infection can also vary, and once again, not to be gross, but if it's really thick and cottage-cheesy, then yeah, it's probably safe to say it's a yeast infection and you might just give the over-the-counter stuff a whirl. If not, it could still be a yeast infection, but it could also be normal discharge. You're just starting out on this odyssey of womanhood, so you don't know yet what's normal for you. The only way to know for sure at this point is to go to the doctor.
Hope this helps.

The white discharge is perfectly normal for your age, and altho possible, probably not a sign of a yeast infection. If it turns yellow, brown or (apparently) like cottage cheese, then go speak to a doctor, but until then, don't worry about it!Speak to your mum, ask her to buy some pads or tampons, so that you have some in supply for when it does arrive. She'll be able to answer any questions you have, and although you may feel embarassed to talk to her about it, just remember that she's been through it too. Quite often, family members have a similar cycle, time of month and start age, so talking to her about it can help!! If you don't feel you can talk to you mum, prehaps talk to a friends mother, or a school nurse, even a female teacher you trust. Its a confusing time, and you're bound to have loads questions, but the simple truth is, everyones different, and so long as you take care of yourself, your cycle will start when your ready. I started my periods aged 13, but developed breasts, underarm and pubic hair several years before, so there not really anyway of pinning down exactly when its going to happen.x

White discharge is normal in girls your age. It could be several months, even a year or two until you have your first period, though.

I was 12 when I started my period. I can remember the cramps that I had before the initial start of it. You should have your parents make a doctor's appointment so she can check out the white discharge and make sure everything is alright. Don't worry about when it's going to happen; my sister was 15 before hers started. It will happen when it happens. Just make sure you have pads or whatever you want to use handy when it finally does happen.
God Bless You

A thick white discharge is common at the beginning and at the end of your cycle, Your period may be on its way but this is natural and can go on for some time before you do start. Keep some towels put aside just incase love my daughter has been having the same as you for some time now. If the discharge is also accompanied by itching then it could be a yeast infection like thrush which you will need to get treatment for, Your doctor if this is the case can give you canesten cream to put on the infected area. He/she may also give other medication its not an unusual infection its quite common so its nothing to worry about, If this is the case love keep from washing with soap as this can make it worse, Go see you gp if your concerned TAKE CARE WITH LOVE MANDY xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

You need to talk to your mum about he white discharge as it sounds like a yeast infection which is harmless and easly treated by antibiotics. The cramps may be down to a number of things bu dont be embarresed to talk to older women of your family. You may need to carry a sanitry towl in you bag in case but i really advise you to talk to your mum. If you need to talk mail me.
hope this helps xxx
