writes: Okay I'm just wondering if anyone can help me here...In feburary, I took the emergency contraceptive pill. My period was due around the 6th of march, and when it didn't come, i took a test that showed up negative.Eventually my period came around the 26th of march (over 2 weeks late).I thought this could have been due to the emergency contraceptive pill or stress as I was very stressed, but I've had it before and I was on time!Now, I'm expecting my period around the 26th.. But I'm just worried I'm pregnant still. I did take the test and it was negative, and I did have my period eventually, so are the chances of pregnancy slim?

 Emergency Contraceptive Pill can delay your period. I remembered I expereinced heavy bleeding for a week when I first took it which caused me to have a missed period. That was 5 months ago. It's normal depending how your body works.

 Pretty slim. Im not sure about the contraceptive pill, but I do know it is possible to have your period or blood and still be pregnant. Also home pregnancy tests can be wrong. Most likely you are not though, Im not trying to scare you. I would say the chances you are pregnant would be .1%

I would say your not pregnant, if you was you would be experiencing symptoms by now, they start to show around 4 to 5 weeks.
If I was you I'd relax, the morning after pill probably caused you to be late and stress plays a big part too. So the more you stress the later you are.
Take it from me, im 27 I was where you was now and I'm sure alot of us have made mistakes while young and maybe a bit reckless x.
Just try to push it out of your mind hunny, your out of the woods now.xx

if you do NOT want to get pregnant use protection!!!!
i know i sound like ur mum n ur teachers but its for your
own good that we say it!!
Also if this is your second time of taking the emergancy
pill, it really should be a wake up call!!! You can't rely
on it, if your in a sexual relationship you should be on
the pill or using condoms!!
anyways after all the moaning, your most probably late
due to stress as long as you took the emergancy pill within
72 hours as required, if you are still concerned pop to
your docs they can do a test for you
& they cant pass any info on to your parents if
your worried about them finding out!!
maybe you should talk about your concerns with your mum
or aunt or someone in your family i know its embarrasing
everyone has been through it at some stage and yes they
may shout and scream but that is because they care for you!
i know i sound like everyone else but you really need to
take full care of yourself and even if your mates are doing
it without protection its not cool would u rather catch
something from not usin a condom because ur mates say its
so much better without or would you rather use you brain
and be an individual!!!!

 Very slim when you take the contraceptive pill it can make you be late and with the stress of thinking your pregnant you will be late. You have had a period and took a test so dont think you have any thing to worry about next time to use a comdom then you wont have to worry.
