Yes, definitely!

People have commented that I have really high cheekbones, even though I wish they were higher.

I suppose that people of any nationality could have high cheekbones, but I think that it's typical of certain nationalities. For example, I understand that I have Irish ancestry... and in my family I have noticed that we have the features like really dark or jet black hair, high cheekbones, dark eyes. Well, I have red hair but almost everyone else has dark hair.

Gabrielle Stoker agony auntCan't think of a man who ever fell in love with cheekbones for their own sake. Cheeks, maybe and noses most certainly.

Jokes apart, high cheekbones do normally give a classy look to a woman (they're associated with the aristocratic look) and if the rest of the 'package' is good, high cheekbones should be a nice icing on the cake.

CindyCares agony aunt Eventually it always comes down to personal tastes , but, yes, in general high cheekbones are considered an attractive feature. If you notice, many models on fashion magazines have high cheekbones , and the whole point of using brush is too make cheekbones stand out in an otherwise too " flat " or round face.

Probably at your age your cheekbones are still covered by a little layer of baby fat and are not too noticeable , but wait a few years and they'll show up in all their splendour:)

A female reader, chigirl Norway +, writes (3 November 2011):

chigirl agony auntWell... each to their own. It's the total package with personality+looks that make you who you are. Men or boys aren't attracted solely to ONE part of who you are. You as a total is what matters. And beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There really isn't a code for whats beautiful as not other than symmetry. A symmetrical face is statistically more attractive than unsymmetrical faces. But NO one has a perfectly symmetrical face, the one side is always different from the other. But the more symmetry the better. So equally shaped eyebrows is a good thing haha.

Oh and people tend to be attracted to those who look like themselves. So men with high cheekbones might find you more attractive than men without high cheekbones. But that's not a rule.
