Hello - This post is probably a bit late, but I've just read and thought it was important to answer in case you were worried about about it being abnormal.
This sounds to me as if it's your cervix (entrance to your womb). This is a hard bump about a centimetre wide with a depression/ hole in the middle. The clue is that it is high in your vagina. Of course, nothing to worry about. Worth checking out if you are still worried though.
Good luck

ps. you say high in your vagina/ near your clitoris - but your clitoris is outside your body and above your vagina, important to know where this one is!!

Littlesuziepie is right. But I will add this to the list of posibilities. You could have a blockage of the bartholyns (sp?)gland. This is the gland that creates lubrication in the vagina and sometimes can become blocked creating a lump or cyst. This isnt a huge deal, but it can become painful if ignored. Get yourself to a doctor. Chances are that whatever is going on is not a big deal, as long as it is dealt with. But if you ignore something it can morph into a big deal. Stop worrying about figuring out what is wrong before you go. YOu dont need to know what you have before you go to the doctor. That is the beauty of going to the doctor! You report the symptoms and it is HIS job to diagnose what is going on!

If it was never there before or if you check a photo of detailed picture of a vagina and do not recognize this bump you have in it then you should totally go to the doctors.
It could be a number of things.
Allergic reaction
Ingrown hair
Cyst
If you were sexually active in any way it could be a genital wart but you said you weren't so I think you can rule out any std that may cause a lump.
You should be good to see a doctor as its not anything imbaressing and even if it were doctors are not judgemental and caring so you will be in good hands.
You can try your mom first if its easier for you. Parents know a lot. You may have had something like this before and your mom just never told you.
Good luck and be brave. It needs to be checked out.
