No condom, no lube, it was very much a spontaneous decision. The thing is it didn't hurt whatsoever, but I hear anal sex is meant to be really painful. It didn't hurt a bit whereas losing my virginity was killer. Why is that? Because I was already turned on? I'm also well aware we should have used a condom regardless of it being anal sex for hygiene purposes but we didn't, do you think we'll be alright as far as health is concerned? We lost our virginity to eachother and have been checked out so neither of us have anything to pass on, but I know it's still not a good idea not to use a condom in that area.

If you're going to do anal sex, just make sure he never sticks his penis or fingers back into or around your vagina after they have been around your anus!!!

Probably because you were turned on, and he was covered in natural lube from your vagina. It doesn't hurt for everyone, in fact, some women find it very enjoyable!
Hygene is a concern, and you do run a higher risk of infection. It can cause tears in your rectum that can become infected by fecal matter. Of course, you run that risk regardless of if a condom is used or not.
I think you two will likely be fine, but it's always good to be safe.
