Hi,

well, I'm 20 and my bf is 28. I'm 5.1 feet and he is 6.1 feet. I wasn't seeing that as a problem until a couple of times at the street some people kinda stare at us. my bf laughed at it but it's really bother me. Do you think I'm too short for him?

Hi there, you shouldn't even bother of people staring like cindycares says maybe their staring because they make such a good couple and good looking. LOL. I am 5'1" my boyfriend is 6'3" I'm very tiny his big in height and weight. When we walk outside I make sure he eithers hold my hand or put his hands around me it looks weird most of the time because of how long his arms are and his posture will be out of it but its the beauty of how much he loves me and how much I love him. We may look weird and people might stare but we stare back at them and ask them "what you looking at? Jealous much!" But that's how we are and how comfortable we are together. So don't care what people might say.

Tom Obler agony auntHello,

No you are not too short. Never. I am just under 6,3 and have dated girls of 5 feet and 5,3. We never had a problem. Maybe you "think" people stare? I think you should carry on with him and you will get used to things. If things are good with him and he makes you feel good then carry!

Height is not a problem if two people really like each other. Your boyfriend chose you for YOU and who you are as a person. Why should you even care what people think anyway? Height shouldn't even matter and it's just a physical of who you are. I have a friend who is 5 ft and her boyfriend is like 6 ft 2. So seriously, forget what people think because you have each other. Besides I think it's cute when you have a couple like that :(. Please don't worry

CindyCares agony aunt In total dissent with the anon female , I am 5'3, I have always only dated tall guys, and when I went out with my 6'3" ex I never noticed anybody staring, but if I had , I would have assumed that people looked at us beacuse we were so faboulous and made such a goodlooking couple,LOL .

Or, I would not have given a damn about it. That would be funny, if one should choose her boyfriends in order to please perfect strangers in the streets !!

I'm also 5 foot 1 inch and would never ever consider dating a guy who is that much taller than me. One time a guy that tall asked for my phone number, I thought he was joking, how could he have possibly been interested in a girl so much shorter. It's not just that people would stare, but also I wouldn't be able to put my arms around his neck and kiss him.

Don't worry about it. If you and your boyfriend don't care, you shouldn't either.
