reader, anonymous, writes (9 August 2007): Hi. I think that you need to stop worrying about what label you (or anyone else for that matter) are putting on yourself and just go with your feelings. If you really like this girl then go for it. If you find a guy you like - that's fine! You shouldn't worry at the moment about whether you're gay/bi/straight or whatever - just go with you're gut instinct because a label means nothing. :)

 when i was younger i was confused, i think we all get confused about everything from time to time, thats why there are sites like this. if you get turned down by this girl then at least you tried, if you cant bring yourself to do it then id say you were straight, unless you cant bring yourself to ask out guys, then id say you were confused. i had feelings like yours but i blame it on my father not being there for me, did you have the same thing?
sometimes, we admire people way too strongly and start to feel a much stronger urge to attract them, not in a sexul way, just a friendly way, maybe your mixing up your emotions. either way, you cant sit there all confuzzled n stuff. i'd go to a gay bar, try and see whether or not that helps, id try expressing myself a little bit more. most of all have fun, but be safe.

Personally I think you should see how it goes with this girl you like. Maybe your a lesbian but would like to take the role of the 'stronger/dominant' male role, although your still a woman.
