writes: hello ladies, your advice is very much needed, i had unprotected sex with my fiance on the 28th of march (9 days after my period started) i have a cycle of 26 to 28 days, so i got scared and took the morning after pill which caused me to have spotting a week later for about a week then i got my period again on the 14th of april as expected and had sex on the 4th of may ( 21st day of my cycle), which is supposedly safe, my period was expected between the 10th to the 12th of may, today is the 13th and i have all the symptoms but nothing yet. do you think i might be pregnant?

Thank u ladies, but i'm a bit worried today, it's the 15th and i have no period showing, i'm usually earlier in my cycle never late. do u think i should take the pregnancy test?
btw i've been sick and feverish for the past 2 days, antibiotics and panadols, do u think it delays the period?

You don't need to worry. If you have the symptoms you should be fine. The stress your body went under after taking the morning after pill is probably whats causing your late period.

I am sure that OmgDoll is right ,yet I would like to point out that the 21st days of your cycle is only theorically safe,in practice there are no 100percent safe days because occasionally you can have a late ovulation, or even two different ovulations in a month.

Don't worry! When I took the morning after pill before my cycle was slightly changed for the next month or two. I had exactly the same experience with the spotting and late periods for the following two or three months. It was only slightly off by a few days. So no need to worry! Good Luck
