I have had sex before, but haven't for more than a year, and the guy was smaller than my boyfriend and didn't go as deep or for as long. The next day, I was bleeding, kind of like a light period. While we were having sex, my boyfriend said he thought the condom had broken, but when we checked it, it was fine. It didn't really hurt me badly or anything, but is there something in there that could rip and cause some bleeding after deep sex?

SweetSmoochy is verified as being by the original poster of the questionThank you for your answers. I ended up calling a clinic, and she told me it wasn't uncommon. I was kinda worried for a bit there! She said he might be "poking my cervix" or tearing something, especially since he's larger than my first partner.

You can get the same sort of bleeding from a cervical smear test. It's nothing to worry about and it's very commont to get some small tear or graze after some sexual activity.
If it persists or you get any other symptoms then you might need to contact your GP but intermittent 'spotting' is common.

It's probably nothing to be concerned about, but you should get a medical opinion. Check this site (from the UK) which is what the health service over here recommends
