My first time killed and I was ready to tell my boyfriend that it was too painfull but I just gritted my teeth through the pain and it got better. That is all I can say really you just have to grin and bear it and grit your teeth even though it does really hurt! I know this doesn't sound nice but it's just the way it is!I suppose for some people using a lot of lube may make it painless but really it depends on the size of your vagina/ hyman and the size of your boyfriends penis. If you have a small vagina and he has a large penis then it will really hurt the first time you have sex. But the pain will get a lot better once your hyman has broken.

Does being fingered hurt? Maybe your hymen won't break and you'll need to go to a doctor and have it broken.
If fingering doesn't hurt maybe you need lube, and a lot more foreplay. Maybe he is just to big(width) for you and you need more time than normal to get accustomed to his size.
Either way if it lasts long go to your gynecologist and have yourself checked out

My first guess is that you're not turned on enough. He should get you extremely aroused (like close to orgasm levels) before you even try. If you're not aroused enough you will be tight and dry and it will hurt an enormous amount. It's tricky figuring out how much is enough and what you should feel like before having sex right when you first start, but in the beginning it's better to err on the side of way too much foreplay than too little. Also you should buy some lube (good lube) as it will make things go a lot "smoother."
