Guys don't want to make the women they are with feel like they are only dating them for sex. I'm sure that's why after one time he's trying to give you some space so you don't start to think that's the only thing he's after.
But tell him you'd like to be close to him like that again and I'm sure he'll make it happen. But be careful how far you let him in; if you make it known that you really want sex, he'll think that you always want it all the time. You don't want your relationship to be defined by sex, but rather enhanced through it.
