Yellowish discharge, bad? a way to stop it?

everytime i go to the bathroom or change or something there is a yellowish discharge on my underwear. its been like that ever sence i can remember but is it bad to have the discharge? and is there some way to stop it?

CindyCares agony aunt Assuming that you are not sexually active and not at risk of STDs, it could be a bacterial infection- with antibiotics it goes awy in few days. Go see your doctor !

Discharge is a way of youre privates cleaning itself. trust me i have the same thing its totally natural but just get some pantie liners so it doesnt stain your knickers. :) good luck.x

Auntie E agony auntIf there is no odor this is most likely normal. There is no way to "stop" it but you may want to start using pantie liners. If it's possible consider seeing a doctor though just to be sure.

You need to see a doctor. Your doctor will be able to diagnose it accurately based on some simple, painless tests.

Best thing to do is get it sorted out early. Doctors are confidential people, and often it's a case of tablet treatments which can be done discretely in the privacy of your own home with noone else finding out.

Don't leave this too late or you can end up with more problems than it's worth.
