writes: My partner and I are splitting up in a few weeks. I want to write him a heartfelt letter saying goodbye. we still love eachother but our situations have changed. we're both moving onto new phases in our lives.ive never been good with words and so this is why i want to write a letter. trouble is ive tried but it all sounds silly and i end up babbling for pages and pages. any advice on writing a goodbye letter to the one you love will be appreciated. thanks x Reply to this Question Share |

Make an outline of the things you want to cover. Write a sentence or two about each thing. Keep it simple and clear. I wouldn't go over 2 pages.
Maybe talk about some of the things you'll miss. Talk about the things you'll always remember. I'd conclude it with something along the lines of "I hope you will always be happy, and I'll always love you."

dont write about anything but your memories......it may prevent a break up! tell him nto to remember the worse of times with you guys but the good! tell him how much he was a friend to you and you adore him.
