writes:Ok so my question is, would a girl (I`m dating) be mad if she found out about a bet I made with my papa(Grandpa). The bet was that I could wait to have sex till I`m married. The winner gets $500, I feel like I should keep it a secret when I get into a relationship but secrets can really harm a relationship so could this bet make a girl get mad and want nothing to do with me. I was already planing on waiting till mariage and when my papa made this bet I figured it would be an easy $500. And if I win should I keep it to myself or share it with my wife. I dont believe shed get mad (if so shes the jealous type)it would show that your commited to a promise.if you tell her and she gets mad that means shes to grown and wants to have sex.

 Dude, look around you, and all the problems sex have brought to people. Waiting til you are married is the best thing you can do.I would tell the girl, and bet her too. Let's see if you both can wait until you are married.It's like waiting for the ultimate gift...each other.I wish I did, knowing how sex can be complicated as I know now.

I wouldn't mention this bet. A girl could say that you were betting on her, and not on the act of sex itself. Don't breathe a word about it. If you win, say it was a present. But don't make her think she's part of a bet.
