i think you should tell him, then he'll know and (hopefully) stop talking about other girls around you. but in the meantime, dont dwell on him, go out and have fun with your friends, live your life! im not saying forget about him, but try not to think of him to much.
i could say more but its like 2:30am and my brain is fuzzy
remember, laughter is the best medicine.

It's completely normal to hold a torch for your ex after all you did spend lots of fun times together. You just need to concentrate on living life to the fullest at the moment. Keep yourself busy and grab any opportuntity you can to get out and meet new people. You don't say in your question how long it's been since the two of you broke up but trust me time heals all wounds. Eventually you will get to the point where you can think of your ex without pain and with fondness for a lovely time in your life.
Good luck sweet everything is gonna be ok.

I had the same problem, and maybe you just need to let your feelings out, and that way even if he doesnt feel the same atleest he'll know.
