Would it be smart for both of us to get an HIV test done even though we both have no sexual history? Or am I just being paranoid? I want us to be 100% clean of anything and everything before we take this further (and of course we'll be using protection). I've read about this before involving other virgins and "testing", but I just feel stupid for wanting it done in the first place.Could somebody help me? Thank you very much, I'd love a positive mature answer not a childish one too.

If neither of you have no sexual history what so ever then wats the point? Just make sure hes telling you the truth! And there are other stds other than just aids so if you do ever decide to get tested make sure you check for those aswell...clamydia,gonnorea,herpies(even tho this is visible so you won't need tests) - this also applies to vaginal warts, it is VERY common for people to carry this virus but only 10% achually come up with warts, you can also catch this even when you do use a condom..there are several more stds to think about i just can't remember the names :) do some research (better to be safe than SORRY) x

Like the other answers said - if you can trust your boyfriend is telling the truth and he has never had sex, then getting a HIV test would be pointless.
If you are both virgins so you really dont need to worry about STD's. And as long as neither of you have been or are injecting drugs with shared needles, or have come into contact with the blood of someone who has HIV then there is pretty much a 0% chance you have HIV.
So just relax and enjoy yourselves - as long as you are going to use both birth control and condoms then you have nothing to worry about in terms of STD's or pregnancy.
I hope this helps and good luck!

If you are certain about the virginity, and also certain that your partner has not had oral sex as well, then I think you would be simply wasting money.
