yea of course! i would certainly prefer a girl asking me to come to her house. i think you should go out the night before though and rent some scary movies and buy some pop corn and you could make it like a cheap cinema! you should especially do this if you are feeling a bit weary about bringing him too your house. so goodluck and i almost forgot the main thing have fun and relax enjoy yourself.

Hey. Whatever you want to do on your first date is considered a first date! There are tons of things you can do at your house as a first date. You guys can make a meal together or play video games or have a movie night. You could go to a park or something, or maybe take a stroll around town! There are a lot of inexpensive date ideas around the house. Now I wouldn't suggest sex just yet, haha. So try to just make things light and fun! Good luck.

First of all, I want to commend you for thinking of the fact of money being tight. That's a cool gesture on your behalf!
I think you could pull this off. When you say "just two people hanging out", that's not always a bad thing. It gives you both time to talk and get to know each other, with no expectations.
If the weather is nice, perhaps go for a walk. If you reach for his hand, he'll get the hint in a big hurry that he's not just some chump to pass the time with.
Some of us guys like the simple things too!!
Good luck to the both of you. You sound like a very thoughtful person.
