And before that I'm leaving the country for some work and wont be there. I was thinking of leaving behind 24g ifts for her 24th bday, to make her feel special.I want to know if its a good idea or it would just make me look like a bigger loser. I was hoping maybe it might make her think differently towards me by doing this.

 I don't recommend doing all those gifts. I would interpret that as if you were trying to buy her love and it would not be good if she did start to like you because of it.
I would get her a single gift, but something with meaning and write her something nice. Don't be so straight forward with your feelings for her but decribes characteristics of her that you like. Use the writing to focus on her. The more you rush into things here the more she will be pushed away so take it slow and let her have time to think about why she would want to be with you.
Stay friends and be a caring person, someone who she would want to be with.
