sure why not that's a great idea! so long as it represents exactly what you feel and not just because you like the song as long as it's linked to your feelings :)

Of course! Whatever floats your boat, if that's what you want to do then go for it. There are plenty of songs out there that express the things you would like to say to someone. Just make sure you pick the right one :)
A lot of people will tell you it's not "common", but what matters is that you're happy on that day. I don't see anything wrong with it.

I don't see why not.
Even though it says 'personal vows'. It should be coming from you. Coming from your own heart and not that of another, it doesn't get more personal.
Maybe the song should be the wedding song. But it's really up to you, because it's your wedding, and do what ever you can to make your siginificat other happy
