well, i kinda like this guy but his mum and my mum have been best friends for 30 years.

I'm worried that if i ask him out our parents wont approve and if we were ever to split up our parents would fall out..

i really like him and we have been out before but we split up cause i was worried about the whole parent thing. please help me..

You could try dropping it into a conversation with your mum by saying `hey mum imagine if me and so and so got together that would be funny`,just to see your mums reaction.If she is ok with that then you and your boyfriend could sit your mum and his mum down and tell them you have feelings for each other and you wanted them to know first to see how they feel about it.On the other hand if your mum is not keen then at least you`ll know and then you and your boyfriend could decide what to do .....Good luck.

gracie lou agony aunthey don't worry about the parent thing. you guys are just kids and your parents arent gonna let something like their kids going out come between their 30 year relationship. with them knowing eachother that long, they'll probably get a laugh of it all :P. have some fun, and if you like this guy and you've actually gone out before dont take this opportunity away from yourself just because you think its gonna affect your parents. you only have one chance at life. mind as well enjoy it. :D
