writes: Hi, this may sound peculiar to most men, but I'm in fact afraid that my penis is too large. When erect it reaches eight and a half inches, and though this may not be gigantic, it still doesn't bode well. My girlfriend reassures me that it is nothing to be ashamed of, but nonetheless I know the vagina only increases in size by a certain degree (it starts no deeper than 4 inches, but then increases when a sizeable object is introduced.) Therefore, I am very careful within intercourse not to insert it as far as it will go, but this equal amount of concentration somewhat spoils the experience on my part. Any helpful response will be greatful.

I havea simlar predicament, but in the other dimension. A word of advice: BUY CORRECTLY SIZED CONDOMS! They make a HUGE difference, and are less likely to break.
I highly recommend Trojan Supras... Slightly larger, and synthetic.. Think thinner (warmer) and stronger.
Also, make sure and utilize foreplay. But you shouldnt worry- Some women enjoy a small bit of roughness (But be careful!!) and for most... The bigger the better!! Use whatcha got!!

As the saying goes (no matter how trite) there is truly a lid for every pot.
As far as having sex with your girlfriend, let her be the guide on what feels good, and avoid positions that will give you deep penetration until you both have figured out what works the best for the both of you, but don't obsess about your penis size or you really will have a difficult time relaxing and enjoying the closeness you two share....keep the lines of communication open.

A woman's vagina has the capacity to accommodate a baby, so if I were you, I would let my girlfriend guide me and take the lead as to what is and isn't comfortable. How she feels will probably vary depending on her cycle as well, especially around the time when she is ovulating and fertile, she probably will be more accommodating physically. If she was on top, she could have a bit more control as well, and you could relax a bit more and enjoy it without worrying for a change. As long as you are both comfortable communicating, that's the main thing.
