writes: Hello over there... I am very worried of my wife who of late told me that she is having an irritation on her genitals since last month! Most of the time that we have sex she may go dry and saliva comes to aid... My worry is ..is it the contraceptive she uses "Depo de-povera"(something of the sort) or is it the saliva which we use or still could it be a vaginal infection... Honestly help.............. doctors you are most welcome.

If your wife is around your age and isnt wet!.... you need to see a doctor... even if she is not, you still need too go see a doctor.

She does need to go see a doctor about this. It may be due to the fact that she is unable to provide enough lubrication for sex and the rubbing is causing the irritation. Saliva will work but it doesn't have the same lasting lubrication as she would naturally produce. It could become infected if there is bad enough wear but most likely it is irritation from sex that won't go away until you can determine why she is unable to become wet enough which could be due to the birth control.
