Couldn't hurt to learn. Even if you sing and couldn't really carry a tune in a bucket then it's still the thought and the effort that makes our heart melt, possibly a little tear stream down our cheek.

corbandallas is verified as being by the original poster of the questionThanks everyone for the responses. Unfortunately I don't sing, but I do play guitar very well. I'm not much of poet though.

Well if you wrote the song for her who's going to sing it? I'll say women like to be serenaded..it's a grand gesture and extremely thoughtful but I'd want the whole 10 yards. You'd definitely have to sing to me..

Only one really enjoyed it haha but then again Ive only done it for certain women as I consider the hobby something a bit private when I do mixes like that other than my radioshow. Anyway, great idea! Creative too and women should like it regardless if u can sing or not. Its all about songwriting and lyrics that are meaningful and also the gesture itself. Nicely done. Good luck.

I don't know, but it seems like a great question. I hope you get some serious responses!
(My wife (for 36 years and still going) and I wrote to each other for 3 months before we met in person. The letters, on real paper, or sometimes a friendship card, got progressively more serious over that time but it wasn't anything even close to poetry or music. In retrospect, it was probably an excellent way for two quiet-and-shy people to get acquainted with each other.)

it'd be sweeter if it had lyrics, if you really can't sing, dont worry though
