Go to your appointment, they will do a set of observations and ask about your current health. The surgeon will then make a decision whether it is safe to operate or not.
But by the sound of your symptoms I would guess not for now.

You have to speak to your doctors on the day.
But if you have a fever and the operation is one where you will be one where you are prone to infection then yes they may refuse the operate.
If it's an ingrowing toenail then you are probably ok.
If it's a kidney transplant then probably not.
Drink lots of fluids, eat oranges for vitamin C and get some sleep.
Good Luck!! xx

I'm sorry, but it's unlikely they will if you're still ill. I went to have my tonsils out because I kept getting tonsilitus. Before the operation, guess what I got tonsilitus and they refused to operate. I was given another date for the operation and told to take a weeks cause of antibiotics before the operation to make sure it didn't happen again.
Take some paracetamol and rest. Hopefully you'll feel better.

you need to see a doctor get your gp to check you over paracetmol is usually good for high temp and feverish aches the doctor will decide if they'll operate but behonest with them on how you are feeling is for a good reason if they postpone the op.hope this helps
