The pill, commonly known as the morning after pill, isnt as effective as other forms of contraception. You should ensure that you get the pill as soon as possible. You need to change this form of contraception aswell because the longer you do this, the more pills you are having. I read read on google, that if you atempt to use this as a 'every day' contraception, then this is bad. Take a pregnancy test as soon as possible to make sure the emergency pill has worked. Best of luck :) x x x

Hello,
The longer you leave it after having unprotected sex, the less your chances increase - after 72 hours, the percentage success rate drops to between 50-80%.
Again, I'd like to stress that no contraceptive method has a 100% sucess rate - it is also important both your partner uses condoms in future, they are the most common effective method of contraceptive on the market and also protect you again Sexutally Transmitted Infections & Diseases - which spermicide and morning after pills don't!
Within 24 hours, the morning after pill has generally a high effective rate - around 95%.
Please use condoms, its safer for both you and your partner and saves you worrying that you could be pregnant!

Girl, if you continue as you have been you are on a fast track to getting pregnant. The morning after pill won't stop you from getting pregnant, it's basically an abortion pill that causes you to miscarry by triggering your period. It does this by flooding your body with hormones. The 72hr time limit is a bit of a furphy - the longer you wait to take the pills, the greater the chance of them not working.Spermicide by itself is pretty ineffective, especially when applied after intercourse. You must start using condoms. This is a very good habit for both of you to get into. If he is reluctant, tell him 'no condom, no sex' - he'll see your point of view very quickly.
