My question is; we have been sexually active for around a year (no vaginal intercourse) and i am wondering if she will still bleed when we first have sex. i have fingered her very many times and she has not felt pain or bled. also, she is a horse rider if that may explain anything.

Unless she it is around or during her period (which obviously she will be bleeding or blood will be present), the only blood that could possibly show is if the act causes her hymen to seperate.

It doesn't have to be sex that seperates a woman's hymen. It can be physical activity like riding a horse that could have already seperated the hymen, therefore no bleeding.
Since this is your first time. Remember to go slow as it is usually painful for her. You should always start out slow in order to give the woman a chance to become fully aroused. That is why foreplay is good as well.
I highly recommend going to this site and learning more about the female. It is good info.
