have a friendship question.

I have a friend who I have known for years as an acquaintance, never really knowing each other much, but in recent months we have become closer and are now good friends, there is a good frienship connection there. She has an eyesight problem and will eventually lose her sight, she works and doesn't have a wide social circle. She has recently met a girl who also has a sight problem in one eye but perfect vision in another eye, they get along really well amd this girl is really good for her, I know its very important that my friend meet others in a similar situaion.

This girl is nice and very outgoing and really good for my friend. I don't want to sound selfish, that's totally not my intention, I'm just really scared that my friend will spend all her free time with this girl, as they have something in common and forget about me. Will she forget about me? I can't talk to her about his. What do I do? Just keep being a friend?

advice very much appreciated thanks

I agree. Why don't you all do something together? There's no reason to think that you will lose your friend because she has another friend. I mean, you two have been friends for years and have a strong bond. But this new friend could be so wonderful for your friend. So be a part of it!
