I am worried when we do have sex...i am not going to be as good or like he may think that. im shy...and that shows. how do i get better or like anything really.

 Just be yourself. If he's being truthful about liking you, then he won't compare you. No two people are alike.
I'd have trouble trusting he really changed though. That line's been used by millions of players millions of times and girls who fall for it end up hurt 99% of the time.
The other reason to be yourself is because any man that doesn't love you for you isn't someone you should be with anyway.
