She is a teacher, she lives about 25 mins from me. However, because of her job, she doesn't have much time to come online. Would I scare her off if I gave her my number? Hi Tommy - Sorry for the delay. The sentance "where you're taking me..." is meant to sound a bit cheeky, and will make you sound different to the other guys asking her out. If you ask her out you'll get a yes or a no. This way she can still say yes, or answer with "you're a bit assumtive aren't you". Either way, you'll sound different from all the others out there. If you try this out IT WILL WORK!
Good luck and let me know how it goes
Mr UK

Hi Tommy - got another tip for you to get a number - hope this helps
“Hey I’m beginning to get ‘writers block’ and life’s way too short to spend every evening playing ‘email tennis.’
Drop me your number and I’ll call you over the next few days to discuss the venue where you’re taking me for a coffee.” :-)
Make sure you use the smilie face; it shows you're teasing her. Good luck! - have you checked out that site yet? www.tipsfordating.co.uk

Don't be a chump , you don't give her your number unless she asks for it. You have to ASK FOR HER number, that's how the game is played.

Yes you will absolutly scare her off! Never, never, never give your number! you'll loose all control of the situation. - you need to keep her attracted to you. I'm guessing you're on Match or something similar, my advise is to get her number, if she replys with something like "you're a bit forward aren't you!" - respond and keep it cheeky (you'll seem confident) "Obsolutly! my converastion is so stimulating you'll not want to speak to another man again - but hay if you want to miss out thats fine :-) !!

Yes, something like. Just say that you'd like to get to know her more and knows that she's busy, so would she like to take your number.

tommy2k7 is verified as being by the original poster of the questionShall I just ask her, or say something like 'as you can't get on often, would you like my number?'

Ask her if she would like your number next time she is on. If it does scare her, then you know she's not the one. Ask her first and see what she says.
