Not meaning I wanted to sleep with him but trying to look seductive. He was staring at me (as he always does) and i looked back at him with my eyes half closed and my mouth sort of open. I was told this looks 'sexy' he carried on staring but his eyes went wide, sort of a shocked look then he looked around at my colleague to see if she was looking. He went after that. But he did still flirt with me in the usual manner later when i saw him. Why would he look so shocked? Did he get scared?

As for him flirting with you afterwards maybe he just decided to ignore it and pretend that it never happened.
