Sweetie, I was just trying to get clarification. I did not mean to offend at all. I actually commend your decision to remain a virgin until you are married. You sound comfortable with yur doctor's advice. Wishing you all the best life has to offer!

I'm glad you have seen a doctor and you sound reassured. But did the doctor run any kind of tests? Sure, cycles can be irregular when you first start, but like I said before, it's been 1 1/2 years now and your cycles should be rather regular now unless there was a specific stressor to interrupt your cycle.
I commend for wanting to wait til your are married to have sex. Don't let anyone sway you from this commitment. I'm a little confused tho. What does it mean that "it would be nearly impossible for you to be pregnant because are a virgin"? Have you engaged in sexual activity but not full penetrtion? If so, be careful! You can get pregnant like this!
Best wishes,

Missing period might be organic cause, so go as fast as you can to take a medical check-up, the gynecologist or the endocrinologist - your hormones might be unbalanced.
Also, from your post I presume you haven't have unprotected sex, but if you did, you might be pregnant.

If you started your periods in December 2008, it has been over 1 1/2 year. Normally your periods should become regular within 1 year. If they aren't, you should see your doctor. It may be a hormone problem or some other kind of medical problem. As the realist mentioned it may be due to stress, medications, pregnancy, and/or your eating/dieary habits and proportion of body fat. Also, excessive exercise could be a cause. Please see your doctor as soon as possible. Take care

I don't want to cause you any worry, BUT missing your period is never a good sign. In fact, it's just about the worst sign.
Please go see your doctor.

This could be caused by stress, or it may be because of being under weight which I don't want to accuse you of but I have to mention it as a possibilty. Also I am assuming that you have not been sexually active or have started any new medication. My best advice is see your doctor because this is truely puzzling.
