reader, anonymous, writes (3 December 2009): How long have you been together and how serious are you? This is lousy behavior from his part. I agree with the former post, but only if this is not a serious relationship. If you've been together just weeks or less than 4 months or so, I say dump him unless he contacts you pretty soon and comes up with a magnificent excuse.

I think he wants to end it and hasn't got the guts. So don't bother texting him and wait for him to contact you. If he hasn't done so in another week, forget about him and move on.
