Mistify agony auntDid you post a question a couple of days back?

Firstly, good for finally telling him. I know it takes guts.

His reaction is funny because he is just adjusting to the fact that he is going to become a father. I would also be upset if i only found out something this important after my partner knew for some time already.

Just explain to him WHY you've kept it to yourself for so long, and give him the time he needs to adjust. Also, in future, don't keep things from him for so long...

He will eventually get over the fact that you lied, and then accept this wonderful GIFT.

Don't worry, just give him space and time.

Good luck with this situation, and with the rest of your pregnancy.

Love

M

You have lied to him before so maybe he is wary as to whether you are telling the truth now. Having a child is an exciting but overwhelming piece of news to be given. Just be prepared to truthfully answer any questions and worries that he has.

rockelle agony auntWhy did you lie? That must have sent up several red flags for him. If you lied about that then he is probably thinking what else has she lied about. That is a serious situation nothing to joke or tell stories about. I hope that you have learned your lesson.
