Because why would she not want to meet him ! Its normal you go out with someone they meet the parents. Also she is probably woundering 'what is wrong with this guy if i am not allowed to meet him?'Go for it they might get on like a house on fire

How can she let her daughter be out with a guy she's never even met? She's responsible for your life and your happiness and letting him come over one night to meet her won't do you any harm. You should try to make the best of it and plan a fun evening for ya'll.

she's your mum and she care's about you. you may be 18 but your still her little girl. what harm would it do for her to meet him?if she didn't take any interest in your life you would think she didn't care for you.us mum's can be over protective sometimes. ask your mum why she feels the need to meet him.good luck
