That is a sort of question you should maybe ask her rather than an online forum. There is no way we could exactly know why.

A
reader, anonymous, writes (11 July 2013): She changed her number 5 or 6 times? She is your ex? She will not respond to your calls? That means she moved on and doesn't want to hear from you anymore.
You are obviously getting her number from her family, or mutual friends behind her back.
The question is, why are you still calling???
She has the right to contact the police to stop the harassment. Every-time you call, it goes on her phone records. She can, and should, file a complaint.
Quit before she does.

I'm not sure how to answer this one except to say: "Move on".

Are you stalking her?
Dude when a woman changes her number 5 or 6 times and never responds to your messages, what she is really saying is 'GO AWAY'!!!
Get it?

A

That's the only reason I keep exes' numbers. They generally get renamed to "Do Not Answer," but they're there nonetheless.

maybe she just hasn't deleted it.... some of us can move on and not erase the person from our lives totally

How do you know she has your number, and if she's changed hers so many times how are you able to contact her?
