I don't get it this really hurts me... all we say is hi bye I luv you, I miss you ntng n da buh I always put effort in and always tell him everything and I am always opened up but why isnt he? Why nott??? He has a quiet nature and is shy but this doesn't mean that he shouldn't open up to his girlfriend... any one got a solution for this? Thanks

What you mean by "open up" is not clear to me.
Let's talk about his quiet nature and shyness.
It's possible that he is introvert and that's how you see it.
You say he "is opened up to his mates": think whether they are close friends or distant friends and how long he knows them.
If he knows them long, over time he will open up to you more.
As to close or distant: it's a clue to how you show act here.
There is no quick solution to this; take time and be patient.

Some guys have a hard time talking to girls about personal stuff. He may open up to you as he gets more secure in your relationship. Just don't push him he will have to do this on his time table and it may take awhile. Since he is open with his mates there is a good chance it will happen with you. Be patient.
