writes: hi, i'm 15 and i have a friend who i have a crush on. i've been told by one of my other friends that him and his friends think i'm pretty and have a bit of a thing for me, and we were getting quite close before the summer holidays, we'd talk nearly every day. he would pull me onto his lap and start stroking my hair, and he'd hug me every time he saw me, but we didn't see each other for the whole of the holidays and now we only talk every few days, and it seems that he's ignoring me a little bit. like when we catch each others eye he'll immediately turn away, or he'll just walk straight past me if we meet in a corridor. i don't really know what to do cause i want to spend more time with him but at the same time i'm scared that he might not want to.thanks. x

It is possible that he may feel differently about you now, he might actually feel something more for you, I highly doubt it's come to the point where his feelings have suddenly faded so much as to actually turn into any sort of hate. So just talk to him, say hi to him when you see him in a corridor. When you catch each other's eye, smile at him and see what happens.
