He will know that I'm on my period, and ANY comment I make that doesn't sound right to him or sounds "pissy" as he politely put it, he will blame it on my period, and in a mean way too. "Oh it's period-Nancy talking...Good night" or other mean things. He will mostly say this when he doesn't really want to answer something I'm asking him and gets annoyed or maybe he does it to purposefully annoy me? Around people, I try my best not to let my bad mood show (mind you, this all was through text...how can you decipher tone of voice and mood through a text!?? I guess he took the easy way out). I'm tired of these "period insults" and I tell him that it could have nothing to do with my period, and he's like "oh yeah sure, that's why you're always extra douchey on your period.." I wanted to insult him back but I just ignored him, because it would've been very childish. Why does he do this?

Men do not understand periods, they do not understand the pain of labour, they don't understand girls mood swings, and the definitly don't understand (most of the times) girls emotions. Thats just it, its men for you. Alot of guys do find things like this funny, as they don't really understand what its like or how it inficts your mood. I will admit its worse with younger guys than it is with older guys. To be honest he sounds rather childish, and it seems like maybe he uses the whole period thing as an excuse to just wind you up or not listen to what you have to say. But once again like i said earlier you have got to understand he is a MAN. He might think when girls are on there period they also have a complete personality transplant too, and he doesn't understand because he doesn't have to have periods. I once met a guy who thought all girls went to a special place to have there periods, and he was about 19 years old :D . I do agree maybe keep your distance when its your time of the month just to stop your self from getting wound up. Good Luck x

Next time you are on your period give yourself a break and tell him to stay away.
