Why do women often think too much into how to act with their guy?

Why don't girls realize how easy it is to be a "catch?"

I see so many posts that involve girls who will resist some sexual acts, or just being sexually aggressive, because they don't want their partners to think they are a slut.

That's just not true, guys love it!

How hard is it for girls to figure out that we are essentially easy! Just:

1- Be nice and enjoyable to hang out with

2- Keep your man as sexually happy as you can

3- Don't actually cause problems with eachother

That's about it! As long as you have a good connection with him, there's no way any reasonable guy could feel anything but happy!

It can be a lot more complecated than that to be a good boyfriend though, but you'd think that any girl with that wanted to could be a keeper

If those aren't enough to keep him happy, really the problem is with him

Miamine agony auntSpot on... that's my 3 rules.. makes things simple and easy, and then I don't have to worry about skinny as pole, false breasts or how to pay flirting games that I always loose.

Additional enhancements.

4. Try to get out of the house and do fun things outside sometimes. (bed play all the time can get boring and you don't get to take as many pictures)

5. Learn to eat well together.... (Italian Mothers seems to trap their menfolk at home this way. Also makes sure each person keeps physically attractive and healthy.

A male reader, Odds United States +, writes (27 January 2011):

Odds agony auntNice article. Each of the points is true and, more importantly, easy to understand.

What's missing, though, is the fact that a lot of guys are flat-out unreasonable (women, too, but this isn't about them). Everyone is prone to the "If this is so easy, I must be able to do better" line of thought.

Worst part is, only a rare few folks fall into a clear definition of reasonable or unreasonable. Most could go either way, depending on the circumstances. Being unreasonable alone is not good cause for a breakup.

To some extent, the reluctance to do anything fancy in bed (among other coy, teasing behaviors) is a way to keep a guy investing his effort into a girl. The delicate balance is that his efforts have to be rewarded over time, eventually culminating in a satisfying, completely trusting and loving relationship. But at the same time, too much reward, too fast, will make someone think they can do better - and too little reward, or regression to a less-happy part of the relationship, can discourage someone and make them leave.

It's in girls' interest to figure encourage their guy to be invested in her, and to really appreciate what she's doing (for that matter, switch the genders, and it's just as true). We value that which we put effort into more than an equal thing we received easily. Part of that means making the other person work for what you'd happily give them. Think of it as benevolent manipulation.

The real trick is for girls to follow your three points, but to encourage the guy to work for them, without rewarding him too fast or too slow.

Merawder is verified as being by the original poster of the question

I'm not sure what you could say, is she clingy just in general or is she trying to scramble to "save the relationship?"

If it's the second, I dought the two will go on too much longer.

But if it's just the way she is handling being in a relationship, she might not be ready for one. She should understand that sometimes trying to pull him closer will push him away!
