As an example, when i was going for a job out of my town, my parents were sort of overwhelmed about it, whereas i was quite relaxed but positive about this change. Am i too much optimistic or whether other people are too much afraid about changes?

Jovial agony auntHi

this is not the case of who is the strongest and who is the weakest its not like that at all. the reason why you feel optimistic about things and your parents are overwhelmed its because you guys are three different people who see things and value them differently. you might think you are optimistic and someone might call you naive, you saw your parents as overwhelmed and i see them as loving parents who were so excited that they managed to raise you and you have become such a responsible young man and the fulfillment feeling they had inside overwhelmed them and it scared them that you are now an independent youngman and they wondered if you can do all that because not so long ago you were in diapers.

everybody is afraid of changes including yourself but what makes us go thru it as an exciting challenge its because we opened ourselves to it and that gives us courage to want to explore the unknown. so everybody is unique whether weak or strong we have different perspective about life. good luck with your new adventure.

Ponungalungb agony auntSome people fear the unknowwn and they assume that everyone else does too. Your parents are probably just trying to protect you from the great unknown world . . . which is what parents do. Keep being optimistic and live your life to the fullest.

Good luck!
