When I was 12 or 13, teenage boys used to tell me they fancied me or asked me out, and I didn't mind that.But, nowadays, I've had a guy in his twenties flirting with me; I've twice spotted men much older than me licking their lips at me on the street; and, since I moved to a foreign country a few months ago, half the men here seem to be eyeing me up.Do guys just do this because I look mature (when I went to the train station once, I couldn't pay the child fare because the person thought I was over 16)?Or is it because I look vulnerable (I'm kind of petite)? Or is it just because they think I'm attractive? I mean, I do wear tight clothing sometimes, but I hardly ever show anything more than my arms and face...Please help, I feel as if something is wrong with me when I get this kind of attention. Makes me feel dirty :/...

My advice is try not to look attractive unless you need to. If your just going to the shops,there is no need to wear a skirt and attract unwanted attention. Its a shame these tactics are necessary but in the end, it makes life easier. Thats another disadvantage to being a woman.

well I doubt that every single man who's looked at you is a paedo, so its probably a mixture of all three things you suggested. It doesn't mean anythings wrong with you! You're probably a stunner. A lot of girls would be flattered to get that kind of attention. You're not dirty, you mustn't feel that. If there is anything at all dirty about this situation, it's the men looking at a girl ten or more years younger than them, but I don't think even that is if it's nothing more than their eye being caught. We have all taken a second glance at attractive people walking down the street. Don't worry about it. If it still happens and still bothers you, then I dunno, maybe avoid eye contact, being out alone and revealing clothing ... ?

It's because you now look old enough that they would consider having sex with you.
Men area always going to look at you. They just didn't when you were 12 because they thought you looked like a child.
Just ignore them, or cover up a little bit more. It's generally best to try and not think about what men are thinking. They are odd creatures.
