Why do my parents think I'm a ladies man? I'm not!

Question - (5 August 2009) 2 Answers - (Newest, 5 August 2009)
A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My paents have always said all the girls would be chasing after me. That was a few years ago. Even now, thry are telling people, all the girls fancy me. I know they don't. I talk to girls but have never had a relationship and am not close to one. Why do my parents think I'm a ladies man when its obvious I'm not? If all the girls fancied me, I would have brought a lot home. I haven't bought any home. They need to realise. Also, they're saying when you have a girlfriend. I don't know why their saying that being as its a long way off.

Does anyone know the reason for all this?

A reader, anonymous, writes (5 August 2009):

Most parents are like that with their children. Aren't you proud of yourself that your parents are so proud of you?

Just make sure not to disapoint them when the time comes for you to bring a girl home.

ilovebowsandcherries agony auntyou're there son they'll talk you up to there friends they obviously think that you're a very handsome young lad and are very proud of you and the way you've turned out.

they know you'll treat a girl right because they know you've been brought up well.

it's what parents do they brag about there children just to show how proud they are of them :) and how well you've turned out.

nothing bad :) just enjoy it.

hope this helps.
