Almost every mature & responsible guy I know complains about how hard it is to find a single decent woman with mutual interest in him.
There's a pattern here.

Not all men, same as not all women.
Some men (me included) have a good balance of fun and serious responsibility.
I guess you just havent met the right guy yet, but dont give up looking. He is out there somewhere!
Good luck!

Why do SOME men only want fun?
Why do SOME WOMEN only want fun?
Dear lady, I think it's a problem with the guys your choosing to be with. There are plenty of gentleman who love to spend time pleasing a lady and treating her right... same goes for men who keep picking the wrong type of woman...

How do you mean fun? If you mean that men don't commit, then actually many do commit and perhaps you're not meeting the right guys. It depends on what you mean by fun?

Not ALL men, just the ones you've been with. I am, and many of the men I know are, more interested in a long term, committed, mature, mutually compromising, emotionally grounded, intellectually connected, faith based relationship with a wise, funny, patient, caring woman that we could see ourselves growing old with. MANY men out there want fun to be PART of a relationship. But, just like with men that have trouble finding mature women, dating is a challenge when you want something more serious than a fling.
