I agree with previous posters, but want to add:
Deoderant is just that, for deoderizing.
You want antipersperant.
Wear looser clothes, keep cooler. Shorts are always in season for the permanently warm!

I agree with brooke5426. One thing I would like to ask though.
I realize you are young, but are you over weight? If you are, this could be part of the problem. If it is, try getting in to a routine of extra walking or running. An overweight person tends to sweat more because his/her body heats up faster. By slimming down, your metabolism will change and it will take more for your body to "over heat" and start to sweat. Sweat is just the body's cooling system.

reader, anonymous, writes (5 April 2008): no deodorant helps this condition. it's a medical condition..you have over-active sweat glands in the glands that control underarm sweating. i have it too, that's how i know. there is a surgery for this condition & that is the only thing you can do about it. it's called hyperhydrosis. look it up online..

look at your deodorant can and make sure its one that says "anti-perspirant" on it.

reader, anonymous, writes (5 April 2008): This is a common problem honey. Try using a different brand of deodrant - you don't have to get hot to sweat, believe it or not! It's natural.
