Yet my partner didn't seem to know and he actually asked if I farted. I explained to him it was a queef and he said he understood but why do I still feel so embarrassed? What would you do in such a situation? Reply to this Question Share |

Girl, you have nothing to be embarrassed about! These things may happen sometimes, and the only real way to "get over" queefs is to laugh at them, preferably together with your boyfriend.

Yeah, it is embarassing! But anyone grown up just laughs it off so the older you get and the more experienced your partners are, the better things will be. I imagine the vast majority of women have experienced this, and we know how you feel but worry not!

I usually laugh, joke about it, and then move on. This isn't like a fart where you can kind of hold it, it just happens and there's really nothing you can do about it unfortunately. I'm sure your boyfriend knows it's just one of those things that happens during sex, like sweating on each other, getting hair in your mouth, bumping teeth, accidental hair pulls, etc... Sex is pretty awkward if you can't just laugh at this stuff.
