For days after, I'm very sore and it feels red and hot.Does anyones else know what I'm talking about. I never have this problem until I got pregnant. The baby is now 8 months and I still have the problem.

 Yes, it could be an STD, but that's unlikely since you've been together for a long time and you aren't complaining about a constant pain.
Sometimes semen just causes irritation in a woman's vagina. Same thing with saliva. It just depends on the person.

 i think you'd better go to the docs and get screened for all sti's first. It might just be sore from havin a baby i can sympathize with this. But i think the only sensible solution is to visit the doc
